Abergwaun, or Fishguard, is a small coastal town in Pembrokeshire, at the “mouth of the River Gwaun”. Situated on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and surrounded by Britain’s only Coastal National Park, it’s an ideal destination for walkers, wildlife enthusiasts, and adventure sports lovers alike. The area offers the best of the coast with its stunning beaches and dramatic cliffs, while inland you can experience the atmospheric Preseli Hills, neolithic stones, ancient oak woodland and secluded valleys like Cwm Gwaun.
Renowned for its arts and music festivals, Fishguard is rich in history and culture. The town is also home to independent shops, galleries, a weekly market, and plenty of cafés and pubs, with local breweries nearby.
